About THE TRAVEL ROOM
At The Travel Room you will find expert travel and tour advice, the low-down on the best places to travel to, information on how to get there and what to take, access to the best city guides with directions to popular tourist destinations, restaurant and hotel reviews, world travel blogs and photos of the world that will hopefully not only assist you as you embark on your adventure, but inspire you to get out there and see the world too!
We are Ted & Dani, the creators of The Travel Room. We are two independent travellers who have travelled to more than 50 countries and want to share some of the lessons we have learnt. Even as we travel now we see people making the same mistakes we made, and this site is our attempt to help others avoid them. It’s also a place where we hope humour, adventure and useful tips will be shared. As we grow, we hope to include contributor’s tips, be able to pass on reviews of travel products and become the first place of call for all those who, like us, have the roaming spirit.
